Privacy Policy

The Short Version

We collect the minimum data needed to process your resume and deliver your career kit. We do not sell your data. We do not hold onto your resume after processing. We do not share your information with anyone except the services required to run this product.

1. What We Collect

• Email address - to deliver your career kit and send transactional emails (delivery confirmation, follow-up). We do not add you to a marketing list without your explicit consent.
• Resume text - the content you paste or upload. This is processed by AI to generate your career documents and is not stored after processing is complete.
• Target job title and industry - used solely to tailor your resume translation.
• Payment information - processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number, CVV, or billing details. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Basic analytics - page views and button clicks (anonymized, no personal identifiers) via Google Analytics to understand how people use the site.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your physical address, phone number, or government ID
• We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other sites
• We do not build profiles about you or sell data to third parties
• We do not scrape your LinkedIn profile or any external accounts

3. How We Use Your Data

• Process your resume through AI to generate your career kit
• Send your completed documents to your email
• Send a follow-up email with tips (you can ignore it - we do not send ongoing marketing)
• Track order status so you can see your progress on the success page
• Process payments and issue refunds when needed

4. Data Retention

Resume text: Not stored after your career kit is generated. The AI processes it in memory and the original text is not persisted.

Generated documents (ZIP): Stored for up to 30 days so you can re-download them, then automatically deleted from our storage.

Order records: We retain basic order information (email, job title, purchase date, amount) for accounting and support purposes. This does not include your resume content.

Email address: Retained as part of your order record. If you want it deleted, email us and we will remove it within 30 days.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate. Your data may pass through them as described:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) - processes your resume text to generate career documents. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Anthropic does not use API inputs for training.
• Stripe - handles all payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase - database hosting for order records and access codes (not resume content).
• Vercel - web hosting.
• Resend - email delivery.
• Google Analytics - anonymized site usage data (landing page only, not admin areas).

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of any data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data (email, order records)
• Opt out of any follow-up emails

7. Children

The Service is not directed at anyone under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you are accessing it from outside the US, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK: we process your data on the legal basis of contract performance (delivering the service you paid for) and legitimate interest (improving the product). You have additional rights under GDPR - contact us to exercise them.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted. We will not materially reduce your privacy protections without notice.
